Weird issue with computer freezing

I've been dealing with a weird freeze issue for the last month or so.

Games or web browsing are usually what is running during the freeze. Not able to load task manager and must do a manual restart.

Upon loading into Windows after it freezing I've noticed that web pages either refuse to load or if they do load take a really long time.

I've swapped RAM to see if that's the issue and no dice. Then I realized that after I completely power down, and unplug the power cable/flip on/off switch, the next time it starts everything runs as fast as it should. Webpages load fine game runs fine until the next time it freezes which is anywhere from five minutes to an hour or three.

Could this denote a power supply issue or a motherboard problem? Motherboard and processor are new, within the last few months. But the freezing is becoming more and more common.

Computer specs:
MSI Z87 - G45 GAMING Motherboard
4670k CPU
GIGABYTE 660GTX OC 2GB Video card
Corsair TX650W Power supply
Kingston Hyper X 120GB SSD
Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM

Troubleshooting already completed:
***I completed a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro 64bit after the install of Motherboard and CPU.
***Ran MEMTEST 86+ for 18 hours no errors
***Swapped RAM just in case

Thanks in advance for any help.

I had some strange issues also. I have a laptop, a Fujitsu which used to run without any freeze or crash, then I installed a SSD and freezes and crashes started to appear randomly, eventhough it's not very often.
