Hello

I have been toying with the idea of building/purchasing a gaming PC for a while now. Mainly geared towards BF4. With a budget or around £600GBP I had pretty much found the parts I wanted and was going to order and build over the upcoming holidays. However I have come across this pre-built rig which seems to match what i was already looking at a price I had in mind - https://www.gladiatorpc.co.uk/configure/config/57661.

The Rig is as follows.

Corsair Carbide 200R
FX 8320 4ghz
GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3
8GB (2x4gb) Corsair vengeance low profile 1600mhz DDR3
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Dual-X Boost OC 2GB
120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD
650W Corsair RM Series 80PLUS Gold Modular Power Supply
+ CPU and Case fans

All this comes to £609 GBP. I have been looking around for a while at individual parts and also other pre-built rigs but this seems to be a lot cheaper than other vendors. Or is this actually not that good of a deal?

Any comments would be appreciated and also if anyone has used this site before could give their feedback.

Thanks!

Not too bad of a build there. I would probably not go SSD and get a 1tb drive instead. Games can take up a lot of space quickly and an SSD doesn't do a thing for framerates. Use the money saved to get a better GPU. The GTX 760 that site offers would be faster than a 270x.

Thanks for your reply logainofhades! I swapped out for the 1tb HD and 760, so the overall price is £617GBP which I am happy with. Overall does the pricing look reasonable to you?

Also I know very little about mobo's. There are 3 offered on the site - which one would I be best going for?

Thanks!
