Correct me if I am wrong, but I cannot see how your link is relevant to the error code given. Just because it comes up as the top option in Google? 
In fact, I don't believe 08xff0000 is even an error code. Looks more like a parameter and likely points to the memory address where the error occurred.
Could you take a look again for another BugCheck code? It will almost always begin with 0x... and should be displayed before the code you have provided.

As a test, I would try installing a Linux variant. Just to test the hardware. See what happens.
If it installs fine, you can blow it away during the subsequent, final, Windows install.
If it fails...then you do have a hardware failure instead of a possible incomplete Windows disk, or bad disk burn.
