Go into the monitor setup menu (nothing to do with Windows) and see if you can adjust the RGB values independently.
If you are getting a yellow tint you need to notch up the blue a little to produce a cooler picture (currently it's too warm).
Or buy a hardware monitor profiling kit such as the Spyder range from Datacolor, available from Amazon. A bit too pricey though if you aren't into photo printing colour accuracy.
