Is 8gb of Ram enough

Hello
I have Read So many Articles Saying that 8gb is more than enough for gaming and equally large amount of articles that say i should get 16gb. I recently bought 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance lp For A gaming pc i am building on a mini itx motherboard with only 2 memory slots which means that both slots will be filled. Will the ram i have purchased be sufficient for heavy gaming, i just need to put my mind at ease

It is more than enough for current games out there. Performance difference of more than 8gb is not that appriciated as of the moment. So youll be good with 8gb.

Yes 8 gb is still plenty even under heavy gaming conditions.

there are exceptions, but for the most part, 2x4GB is plenty.

the exception? BF4 64-player MP maps, though i wouldn't worry too much of it growing into a trend just yet.
