At the moment I have the CM: Extreme power plus 500w PSU (http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/powersupply/...) and it is running well with my system, I am looking to upgrade my graphics card from a Radeon HD 5830 to a Radeon R9 270x and Im wondering if this PSU will give me enough power.

The build after the upgrade will be:

CPU: AMD Phenom x6 1055t

Mobo: Asus M4N68T-M v2

Graphics Card: Radeon R9 270x

RAM: Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600

HDD: HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Optical: DVD-RW

I'd have to say it should be alright, the 270x doesn't draw much more than your current card does, i take it your using a molex to PCIe adapter since that PSU looks like it has only one PCIe cable?

scuba I actually don't know, I bought the computer pre-made a few years ago and I'm only really getting in to hardware tech now.
But yes I did notice that the website said it only had one 6 pin cable and there were 2 plugged in to my graphics card :p
