I seem to be having a very strange problem with my computer that has only been occurring recently within the last couple of months. I am getting very inconsistent lag. Sometimes when I boot up there will be almost zero lag and it lasts until I am done and shut it down. However, there are other times where I will boot up and there is very bad lag to the point where I cannot even play the games I want to play. Internet browsing also seems to be a bit slower but not by much. I would say it's about a 50% chance when I start up whether or not I will be in "lag mode" or "non-lag mode". The annoying thing is that restarting appears to have no effect on the lag. If I restart it while experiencing lag, it will reboot with lag every time. Someone please help me to understand this peculiar phenomenon.
