The Correct Cable for this hard drive?

A friend has a broken 500gb Seagate external hard drive and the cable that connects from it to the usb port has broken (what is the name of the cable?) and was wondering exactly how to find the correct cable to buy for it? :)

It is a USB cable but there are a few different USB connectors as shown in diagram below


So the cable would be USB A to USB (whatever the appropriate USB connector is on the hard drive side)

I Believe Most External HDD use USB-B to USB. I may Be mistaken.

I just looked at my 1TB Seagate Ext HDD and it is not the anything like any of yours listed.. Are you sure they are all of the connectors?

The most likely answer is that the connection is USB 3.0 which has different connectors, it may also be a Thunderbolt connector, a search will show the differences.
