I have a computer with a AMD FX-4200 3.3GHz cpu. The video card in my computer is a geforce gtx 760. Will bottlenecking occur? and if so, will switching out the current cpu with a a4-5300 accelerated processor be a good switch? Please be detailed in your answer. And if all fails, which cpu would you recommend? Thanks!

An APU will not be an improvement over your current rig.

The 760 is doing most of the heavy lifting in most titles.

If you can upgrade to an 8320, that would be nice upgrade and may even smooth games out a bit. But I wouldn't expect huge FPS increases in most newer games.

okay I will consider that. Now my next question. The motherboard in the system is a GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3.. Would that be a potential bottleneck?

okay great answer. Now how do I figure out if the motherboard has supporting BIOS for the FX6300? And would the FX6300 fit in the motherboard, and I know in some motherboards you can't take the cpu out. Is this true? And if it is true, would I be able to take out the cpu in my motherboard? Please reply!

Yes your CPU comes of, here is gigabyte support for your board http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#dl there are to revision of the board 5.0 which has native support for the FX6300 with FA BIOS and 4.1 that has to have BIOS F3 to support FX6300.
The BIOS version you have will be listed on your BIOS screen, as well the revision of the board is usually printed on it somewhere. It is important that you identify the correct revision.

okay, I think I found a better bang for your buck cpu.. the FX-8320. now their is no difference in size dimensions and it is not too powerful for the motherboard is it? and like you said earlier I would have to check the BIOS support. sorry for the change in cpu's but if I do end up getting a cpu it would be the fx-8320. Do you think it would make a difference on the bottlenecking? I think it would make a great difference but thats just me, wbu?

I did a lot of research and I have the GA-78LMT-USB3 rev. 5 motherboard. I took a look at the rev. 5 support list and it had the FX 8320 listed. So thats good. Now the only thing I need to find out is the BIOS version of my motherboard, correct? Which I googled and what i've read, I am suppose to open the start menu and type in 'msinfo32', and that will give me the version?
