Hey guys,
I have recently purchased a lenovo c440 all-in-one. I bought it for two purposes. My tv just broke, so i bought it since it had hdmi and i needed a computer. Now, i just found out that the hdmi is only output and not the input i needed to use my ps3. Is there anyway i can use this computer to play my ps3?

More about : hdmi output

HDMI on a computer is only for output, so the image is transfer to a TV not the other way around.

Even if there are adapters, I doubt they will work because the HDMI on that AIO isn't just a HDMI, it's used by the GPU, which is not not same
as the HDMI found on a monitor.
One possible method that might work is to use a USB 3 TV Tuner, not USB 2 because it's way too slow and I managed to find one.
This devices connect to your USB 3.0 port and has HDMI as input. Will it work? I don't know, but at this price, I would do it the proper way and that is to buy a HDTV
Here is that USB 3 TV Tuner

Another option you might consider is to return the all-in-one and get a desktop + monitor combo... make sure the monitor has two plugs on it... (one plug for the tower; one plug for the PS3's hdmi output) then you can connect both your PS3 and computer tower to the monitor and just switch between them as needed.

Or... you might be able to find an all-in-one with an extra hdmi plug that accepts input -- if they even make those (I don't know if they do).
