My 2x EVGA GeForce GTX 550Ti's in SLI are beginning to show some age and I'm looking to upgrade. I'm having a hard time figuring out what I want/need and what's going to get me the best bang for the buck. I would probably be buying within the next month or maybe two and my budget is around $500ish.

Current specs:
AMD FX8120 Eight Core Overclocked to 4.0GHz
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX Mobo
16GB DDR3 RAM
Corsair RM850 PSU
2x EVGA GeForce GTX 550Ti's in SLI Overlocked to 1000MHz

While I have always run Nvidia in the past, I'm definitely not locked into their products. I have three monitors running in Surround. Individually they're at 1600x900 and together they're 4800x900. I want to be able to game on all three displays, whether it be in Surround or Eyefinity, pushing at least high if not ultra settings.

I like running two cards, simply because they look good in my case and I haven't had any heat/noise/power issues, but if one card can give me the performance that I want then I'll have no regrets switching.

Any advice?
