i will be receiving a computer as a gift with these specs, the person who got it for me knew nothing about computers and just threw this together on cyperpowerpc.com. should i even consider keeping it or should i return it, as i know how to build them and can do much better much cheaper.

CPU: AMD FX-9370 4.40 GHz (4.7 GHz Turbo) Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 8MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology
HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)
MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair or Major Brand)
MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 AMD 990 ATX w/ Ultra Durable 3, On/Off Charge, GbLAN, 4 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1, 1 PCI
SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
VIDEO: AMD Radeon R7 260X 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (Major Brand Powered by AMD)

and the person who ordered it opted for air cooling instead of liquid cooling in hopes of saving money and did not think liquid cooling was necessary.

I appreciate any responses

Solution
As long as its AM3+ , an 8320 would be a more reasonable option.
3rd/4th gen i5/7s would do better as far as gaming goes, but if you would do things that require multiple threads then 8320 would be better.
