This is my first PC build, and am not an expert on software or hardware for PCs, and I am new to forums and this website, but maybe someone here can help me out. My computer starts normally, and I can even use Windows 7 operating system, but if I put my computer to sleep or hibernate and then wake it back up,my PC comes on, but my monitor says no signal, even though it was just working fine before I put it to sleep. I then have to reboot my PC and sometimes unhook the monitors power cord and replug it back into the monitor to get the monitor going again. Some people on here are saying it could be my graphics card, but I did a windows sub-score test and my graphics received a 7.9. I also installed evga precision x, and it recognizes my GPU as gtx 760. My graphic cards fan are spinning inside my case as well. I have tried with another monitor, but with the same result...Does anybody know how to fix this? Thank you. Here are my PC specs and my monitor as well:

Solution
You enter BIOS by pressing F2 after Asus logo before windows loads. On the main screen in BIOS it would say bios version (something like 2004). Go to Asus website, find your motherboard. Find your OS, and see what latest version they have and if it is the same. If it is not the same, download it, unzip and copy to the USB drive in root directory (not in folder- just drop file on the stick). Then in BIOS, go to Advanced, and then "Tools". There will be option to update BIOS build, and it will do it for you, just point it to the USB drive. It is easy when you see it.

Please, check if you have the latest BIOS version for your Asus. It is common problem. Also install your keyboard/mouse drivers. I had this problem, but then it went away in its own- not sure what exactly I did.
