New system start button is not working~

Hey guys my computer won't start my build currently is:

When I turn on the psu the led fans work for about half a second then stop. The motherboard light is on, but other then that...nothing else. The power button of the case doesn't seem to do anything and when I press the "start button" on the Asus maximus vi hero nothing happens.

Please help~

What* i was worried about seems to be correct.

Do you know your processor is seated correctly in the socket + The cooler is attached with a consistent amount of thermal paste.

Maybe post a picture of an above view of your motherboard to see if you've missed plug ins for your motherboard. Specifically im trying to make sure your 24-pin power connector AND 8-Pin CPU power connector is plugged in.

I believe it is...though I did have to reseat the cooler unto the processor chip and some of the thermal paste might have fell off but not a lot of it..I really don't see the problem..
