When I first booted up my computer it all seemed fine, I saw both drives. I added the partition to the drive I wanted to put Windows on (120GB SSD)

But now that everything is installed I cannot seem to find my 1TB WD hardrive in the "my computer" I see it under connected devices but windows wont recognize it as storage, I figured I needed to do something in the boot menu, But I cannot get to the BIOS. I boot up my computer and spam f11 and windows starts normally.

I am not sure what I did wrong or how to fix it.

I have a WD blue HDD and windows 7 pro 64 bit I have triple checked all the connections . The hardrive is there in devices but not and option for storage

SSD drives are new to me but I've seen similar issues get resolved by updating the SSD's firmware.Try Acronis True Image Home 11 to set SSD as active or even reformat it again under Windows so it can be visible .Hope this helps.

The SSD is fine. That is the one that is recognized. It is my 1TB HDD that wont show up.

I am afraid that the issue is that I did not do something with windows 7 when i installed it. I didnt set up the HDD because I was not installing the OS on there. However now I cant even use my HDD. So I think I need to get back to setting up an new HDD with windows. But I am not sure how to do that.

Try Acronis True Image Home 11. If this program doesn't see the drive then sorry to say drive may be a goner. I fix computers for a living so when people donate old P.C.'s to me with bad HDD's before I recycle them i put them trough Hard Disk Sentinal to see there health status and then if they are not seen by Windows I use ACIH 11 to reformat in Windows. It's either that or RMA. You can try to see if the install media sees the drive but I'd rather do it in Windows it's faster. Good luck.

In windows install setup you'll see the 900+ Gb HDD choose delete then format then just reboot without installing. You may see 2 partitions for your HDD delete both then when it is one partition format. You should be good to go.
