I'm trying to upgrade my processor/integrated graphics but I can't find a good list for my board
I'm using an Hp ENVY dv6-7 with an AMD A8-4500M
I'm really wondering if I can just upgrade it to the newer versions of the A8 since they come with a better graphics and clock rate and mine is already decent for what I do now

Is that a Laptop ? If it is, you can't upgrade it. You would have to buy an new laptop.

You typically cannot upgrade laptop processors because they are usually soldered onto the motherboard.

so if I find out that it's not then I can right?

but if so then my issue is still above because apparently my motherboard is something Hp made and they've given no name or specs to it really. I just know I have a AMD Hudson-2 chipset

Even if you could upgrade, it isn't worth the cost or time/effort involved. Your particular chip is not soldered in though.
