MUltiple monitor setup

hi
i have bought new GPU palit gtx 770 and want to use dual monitor setup
but only one monitor shows display and the sec one is showing cable not connected

one monitor is connected through DVI to vga convertor
SEc monitor is connected through DVI D to vga convertor

nvidia control panel is also showing one monitor

WHT TO DO??/

Go to nvidia control panel and activate your second monitor. You should then be able to adjust your desktop with 2 monitors.

No. HDMI and DVI use the same digital signals except that DVI cannot transfer sound.

You can get a HDMI to DVI passive converter and it will work.

I had a look at the Palit graphics card video ports. All of them have only one DVI-I port, the one that produces an analogue signal and can be passively converted to VGA.

If both of your monitors only accept VGA, then getting an active converter is the only way to have both monitors working. It is the one I linked in my first reply.
