Goodday,

I want to upgrade to the R9 290 from Sapphire, but i hear different story's about the PSU you need for it.

This is my current setup:
-FX 8120 Black Edition 3,1GHz (cooler H60)
-Asrock 970 Extreme 3
-8GB DDR3 1333MHz
-2x SSD (1x60GB,1x240GB)
-1 Terabyte Sata 600
-DVD RW
-XFX HD6870 Black Edition 1GB GDDR5
-OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W
-2x 200mm fan led
-2x120mm fan

So my question is is my PSU sufficiënt or do i need another one?
Thanks in advance!

Your PSU is fine as long as the 12v rail produces at least 21a.

The +12 V output is produced by two KCQ60A06 Schottky rectifiers connected in paralell, each one supporting up to 60A. This gives a macimum theoretical current of 43A, so i think its good.

Thanks helped me alot
