I have a licensed copy of AutoCAD on my old laptop how can I transfer it to my new laptop

I am renewing my lap top and want to transfer the program from my old laptop to my new one.

If it's a licensed copy, you should have the install disk or install file. Just reinstall to the new computer and enter the serial/key when requested. If you no longer have the disk or key, you'll need to contact autocad support.

Depending on the version - autocad had an export key in the file menu (if I remember correctly). So you could cancel the copy on your current computer, then re-install it on the other one.
