Hey guys,

I had been following the 780ti for a bit and I have been doing so digging but only managed to make more questions for myself.

I was wondering if anyone knows about when the after market cards will show up...I think EVGA is working on one? I was interested in MSI but I am not tied to them for any particular reason.

I also heard mention of a 6gb version? I wouldnt think they would do this since it would blow the titan out of the water but I would hate to buy this thing and miss out on a 6gb version.

I am really just buying the card for future proofing. I have 2 gtx 480s that get the job done but they are a bit old now and I would need the power of this card for some of the work I would be doing [not just for gaming].

Any help you guys could give would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Wow this is great!

Nothing on the horizon for MSI yet though huh? I have always used them and had good luck with their cards so thats why I was looking for them to make a card. In terms of quality what brands would you guys think to be the best? I heard EVGA is pretty good and the EVGA superclocked looks pretty damn sick.

Any thoughts?

In the link for the EVGA Kingpin, it ends with "The EVGA GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition is said to be launched in December much like the competition will bring a new Lightning."

I've not seen any news about the 780 Ti Lightning, or any aftermarket 780 Ti from MSI. So that "Lighting" might be referring to this:

If you're concerned about missing out on extra vram, might be a good thing to wait for the EVGA Kingpin, as it is confirmed to have 6gb. Although it might cost you a kidney or two.

???

"The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition Graphics Card would get 6 GB of RAM (stock GTX 780 Ti has 3 GB) and feature like no TDP limit or locked voltage."

Anyway I did a little more digging and found Palit and Gainward have also released their custom 780 Ti.
