2 weeks now, when I updated BIOS to latest version (2103), I lost all audio to my PC. Speakers work on other devices, other speakers do not work on this device.

Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Realtek drivers (all other drivers as well).

Has anyone seen this?

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.31 GHz
MoBo: Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

Check in bios if it`s not disabled by default when you updated. If the windows doesn`t see it even as a device w/o proper drivers your problem starts from the bios, is either disabled in bios , or the new update fuked something in your MB

Check in windows not to have output to SPDIF digital (right click the Speaker near the clock > Playback Devices > and select Speakers as default output) , happened to me once, and if you have good heaphones/speakers i would suggest that you get a dedicated sound card , they are much better than the onboard ones, but this only if you`re a bit of an audiophile, if not, is not worth the investment.

Thanks for the quick response! I can't do that because it says no audio devices are installed now. If I left click it goes immediately to Windows troubleshooter. I know this may be a simple issue, and sound card is now ordered as I have roughly 2.5 TB of music, but I would love to know if there is a solution and I have tried everything in my knowledge base to correct.
