Alienware Factory Reinstall screwed my Hardrive

I recently used the Alienware Factory Re-install with my Western Digital 500GB Hard-drive, after the program I had noticed that my Hard-drive had gone from 500gb to 31gb. Anyone know why this has happened or how to fix it. I'v tried to format it but nothing has happened

its possible ur hard-drive is corrupted and might need replacement, thats one weird error.

because usually formating brings the size back to zero. i dunno what else than maybe replace the drive could help.

I also tried it on my laptop and tried formatting it on there but that didnt seem to work either, so i dont think re-installing windows will work
