So, roughly a week ago I found out that my computer (custom built, btw) wouldn't start up. So, I took out one of my hard drives and apparently it was dead, causing the faulty start ups. I went and got a brand new hard drive yesterday. I installed it correctly and it started to work fine until I started to open anything in it. For example, I am downloading World Of Warcraft on the new hard drive. WoW has a streaming download launcher so I can leave the launcher open and the game will install for me. These are the kind of things that started to freeze my computer. It also, for some reason, has a hard time dealing with google chrome opening, Steam, or many other things to be honest. I don't understand why this is happening because I have a good graphics card and ample RAM.
I've been going at this thing for a week and I am beyond frustrated so ANY help will be appreciated. I'll post some of my specs below.
Core i5-2500k @3.3ghz
GeForce gtx 660
8GB Kingston RAM
