Hello! I have a GTX 770, and its REALLY cold where I am. My computer is in the room that is the coldest. I was wondering if this is bad. When I turned it on it was at 24c, Im guessing it was probably a little colder than that before I turned it on. Anyway Im just wondering if its is bad for my computter to be cold.

Thanks!

The CPU clock-speed record (on a overclocked FX-8150, think it was something like 8.34Ghz) was achieved under Liquid Helium. Its impossible to know how cold the chip was since all the sensors just aren't meant for sub-zero temperatures, but the overclocking team were pretty sure that it wasn't too far off 0 Kelvin (or Absolute Zero).
Yeah, your chip is fine if it idles at 25°C .

In the colder months my CPU will idle at about 15°C, once on a particularly cold morning just as I booted up one of the cores was 0°C.

Did you see that inter dimensional heatsink they built in the desert on stargate sg1? well I want one of those
in my cellar and I will run some long cables and use a wireless mouse and kboard to my bedroom.
24c is too warm if anything.
