Just built my own computer, so far everything is working and I'm able to see my drivers on the bios setup screen, but when installing windows 7 nothing comes up and I'm also doing a raid configuration

I have tried that and nothing happened also for some reason in the bio menu after a while a second drive pops up saying its uefi while the first that came up was p4 while the rest of the name is the same, i'm not sure if maybe this is creating a problem or not.
Also my CD drive is an ASUS CD-ROM Black SATA Model DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS - OEM if that helps

I checked and its under CD/DVD ROM driver BBS priorities and my boot option 1 is my asus DRW-24B1ST CD driver and boot option 2 is a 300GB internal hard drive and as for saving changes every time I make a change with the boot option and exit it says i haven't made a change and doesn't save. also i just noticed that the boot device led is red and the computer has started up and restarted up a few seconds afterwards before but has stopped doing that now

If any more info is needed just ask.
And thanks for the help in advance

1st. If you are attempting on(desktop pc) motherboard raid, you need the drivers handy for/during windows installation. If you cant find em, dont try.
2nd, Dont bother. Everyone I know who gets paid for I.T. work says unless you have a $150 dedicated raid card it will cause tears just after bedtime and leave you with lost data and a 48 hr recovery path. .
Total reboot etc.
For the 2nd time this year, be my guest and solve it.

Far better for a desktop pc is o/s on ssd, and back up sata2drive files on external hdd AND online.
Additional o/s install setup on old spare primary hdd ready to swap into box a bonus.
In other words, you can swap your ssd for an old sata hdd in 5 mins.
