emachine setup is starting services

son bought this last year-never made start or repair disk
Will not boot now - stops with message "setup is starting services"...
Will not boot into safe mode(s) either

You should get an install disk to try, but it sounds to me like a faulty hard drive is not succeeding
in entering windows or restoring itself. Either way you will need the media disk.

This was a desktop mini model. Just so happened found a Windows restoration volume on the had drive and we were able to access this by using ALT-F10 and initiated a reinstall. Thanks for the assist.
