Hi all I just wanted to ask in which order I should install my SSD and install windows. The situation is that I have windows currently installed on my HDD and I would like to install my new Samsung EVO and have windows installed on it. I have found tutorials on how to install the drive itself but was simply seeking clarification of what order I should proceed in?

Should I install the drive, set the bios to launch with the SSD and with AHCI and with the installation disk in my CD drive install windows that way? Or do I uninstall windows (is that even possible?) and then install the SSD?

Thanks for the clarification, I just couldn't find clear information on which order to do this and I really dont want to make any mistakes here. Also once I install Windows 7 on my ssd will I be able to delete windows from my SSD?

Thanks in advance

Only connect the SSD and dvd/cd, and GPU, but not other regular HDD. Go to the BIOS, set the storage mode to AHCI, also DVD/CD boot =1st, HDD/SSD boot=2nd, saving and exit, boot the PC, install the win7, you may need install the intel or AMD ahci controller driver by F6 method during the installation. After done, tweak and optimization SSD, then install the rest drivers like chipset driver, LAN, aduio, and other softwares you want.
Hello... un hook your previous HARDDrive Windows install... and install Windows on the NEW SSD per your 2nd paragragh... then when all done with your Driver installs and Windows is all set up to your liking, hook back up your HD and transfer and adjust programs/data as needed to your SSD... format the HD to remove everything... then move and install program on your HD to your liking.
