Hi,
I was wondering if anybody has use the Asrock Extreme4 Z87 in Quad-SLI or Tri-SLI? I am planning to use it in Tri-SLI, what bridge do I need to get? Also the board advertised as a Quad SLI board, how is this possible when the board only have 3 PCI-E x16 slot? Do I need to get a quad SLI bridge?

Thanks

I'm not sure (from the looks of it, the one I posted wouldn't provide the correct spacing, but I'm far from 100% sure), but here's a bump for you so that others that know the answer have a better chance of seeing this thread.

A tri-SLI bridge, like this: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=401-MB-0023-01

Not all graphics cards have only one GPU. This is for dual-GPU cards. You can put two GTX 690s in SLI, and it would be quad-SLI since both cards have two GPUs.

Do I need to get a quad SLI bridge?

No. For the situation I mentioned above, it would necessitate a regular SLI bridge.

That make sense about quad SLI.
For tri-SLI bridge, are they all the same - in term of size and spacing between the card/slot? I can buy a EVGA tri-SLI bridge and use it with ASROCK mobo?
