Hi, Hardware nab here.

I recently purchased a Bluetooth Adapter, and a Bluetooth headset (Giotek EX-01) to use with my PC. After some struggling, I managed to install the (I think) correct drivers and, whilst I was able to connect my Headset up to my PC, no sound came through, even though the sound settings indicated that there should be. I don't know if this is a problem with my PC, the Headset, Dongle, Drivers, or whatever, but some help would be greatly appreciated. Most searches pointed me toward the Broadcomm Bluetooth driver, but, for whatever reason, it won't install onto my PC. Below is a picture showing all my drivers, settings, statuses that I feel are relavent. If anyone could help, I would be really grateful :ange:

You can try this, connect your headset to PC, then right click on the speaker icon on the taskbar, then click on sounds, then select the tab Playback, now you should see the Bluetooth headset, click on it, and make it default device. See what happens. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. When I make it the default device, the equaliser moves up and down as if sound is coming through, although nothing is coming through the speaker nor microphone. Here's a screenshot.

I am afraid I cant see your Bluetooth headset in the screenshot. If the headset is connected properly and in a working position then it should appear in there with a icon of headset.

So it could be you are doing something wrong, though its pretty simple to do, or the headset might be faulty. You can try the headset in another system to be sure that its not faulty.
