You should be fine with a Palit GTX 770. I personally dislike AMD cards as they run hot and use a lot of power= horrible efficiency for a bit more raw power.

i see, so doing a 3 monitor setup will still depend on the gpu not the cpu. i was thinking going fx8350 but im having second thoughts on it and leaning towards the fx6300, most people would go with the fx8350 as its more "future proof" than the fx6300. do you think the fx6300 will still be good for a couple of years, say 2 years?

The FX 6300 Should be good for 2-3 years. My old AMD Athlon (Laptop!) can still run GTA IV on medium settings 0.0
