Hello all,

I am slowly receiving all the pieces parts for my first build. My question is whether I chose the right memory. I chose the CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 Desktop Memory Model CMY32GX3M4A2133C11 kit.

Can I use this 2133 memory? Did I totally pick wrong? What can I expect? I plan on using Asus AI suite for minor OC.

I am returning to Windows after 12 years in Apple land and I have lots to catch up on I can see.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

Solution
I just picked up some G.skill F3-1866C9D-16GXM (cas9) that I am very happy with.

If you want to max out the Motherboard now, get a 32GB matched set of 4x8GB, but all I could afford was the 16GB.
You will need to enable the "XMP" profile in the BIOS to make it work at the rated speed.

I got mine from Newegg, but every retailer will have 1866 memory and you might want to hunt around for a good price or for a retailer that you are comfortable with.

Here is what I have in a box that arrived today:
i7 Core 4770k
Z87 Sabertooth
GEForce GTX 770
Corsair RM750 PSU
2x Samsung EVO SSD

Corsair 550D arrives tomorrow.

Thanks again for answering the earlier question. This seems to be a great community.
