I just recently built a new PC for myself with the Asus Direct OC II R9 280X as a video card, and it went pretty well at first. The build worked on almost my first try (this is only my second PC build) and I installed windows and some other programs. The problems happened the next day when I installed battlefield 4. I booted up the game and played for maybe 5 minutes before the screen went black and nothing I could do would restore the picture. I turned off the PC and friend to reboot. No signal detected by the monitor. Cracked open the case and tried making sure everything was plugged in properly and I rebooted a bunch of times. Nothing worked. What is the issue, and how do I fix it?? My motherboard is the Asus M5A97 R2.0 and doesn't have inboard graphics and my CPU is the FC-6350. Since the card worked for about a day and only failed when I started a game I have no idea what the issue may be. Please help me! Thank you so much!

Not handy no this is my first desktop in a very very long time. I might be able to bring the card to my friends tomorrow when we build his PC and test, but I'm nervous about traveling with this expensive stuff

It's the Corsair TX 650 , a 650 watt PSU. All the lights and fans on all of the parts (including the GPU) seem to always turn on and work, so I'm not sure if it is the PSU. However, sometimes when I switch the PSU off with the switch on it, some LED's stay on for a few seconds more than normal.
