cpu still overheating?

i made a thread earlier with my computer freezing every hour or so while in use. They factored down that it was an airflow problem and removing the case panel should be ok until another fan comes in for the case. Whats bothering me is that even with the case panel off while playing skyrim for example it will still reach 75c~ and my house is pretty cold right now it is 7c inside my house. The cpu still manages to reach 75c so if put in the new case fans and closed it up I'm pretty sure it will be overheating again.

Any cooler that fits an AM3 socket will be able to replce that cooler. With the nature of AM3 sockets being the same as AM2, and AM3+ I would expect ANY cooler that you can buy on the market that is not marked as Intel only to work superbly. You are only using an FX6100 which is not the most incredibly demanding CPU heat wise.

I can personally recommend a Dark Rock Pro or a Noctua NH-D-14 (I'm on my phone talking from memory so that model number may have the first two letters wrong) but ultimately they will be overkill for your system which ultimately should run fine without THAT level.

I'd get something like that just in case though, don't forget the Arctic Silver thermal interface.

how do i check the pump? right now i have a fan blowing onto the cpu/radiator and its still sitting at 64c. and im pretty sure the house fan in using right now is much stronger than case fans.

It's not your machine. It's the CPU cooler. If you are overheating in 11min with prime95 and it's hitting 95 degrees with a h60 properly mounted, you definitely do not have liquid flowing through the H60. Either the pump is burned out as mentioned above, or something has jammed up the flow of cooling fluid inside. Anything else should be visible to the naked eye.

Try switching coolers if you have anything to hand.
