I built a new computer in early 2010 and it is still going strong. Recently I found a fewgames that will not play correctly because of my graphics card. I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card so I can keep this computer going for another couple of years.

My current specs are:
GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard, I have a AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 3.1 ghz processor 8gb of ram and a GIGABYTE GV-R467ZL-1GI Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16, 8GB ram Windows 7. My CPU was initially a AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition Callisto 3.1GHz, but I unlocked to 2 hidden cores.

I'm looking for a card in the $100 range, with a 400w computer requirement or less.
Is this one ok? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Any recommendations?

Is there something about my computer that will not let me take advantage of a better graphics card, or let me play more current games?

I assume the jump from a 4670 card to a GForce 650 card will be significant even though they are both 1gb 128 bit cards?

I have a 400w corsair.

Are the wattage requirements spot on or can I slide by with a card that needs 450 watts? I have 2 hard drives, DVD burner, card reader.

I'm not really trying to put too much time effort and money into this. In a year or 2 I will build a high end computer, I just want to get this one able play dishonored, most of the cod's and bf3 etc.

for around $100, you might be able to squeeze in a 7790, and your power supply should be ok with it as long as you're not overclocking like mad. a gtx650 is likely in a similar range of performance. not sure which one is more power-supply-friendly.
