According to a benchmark comparison website here theoretically the GTX 670 will be the best performing card, but I was wondering if after overclocks or just in reality rather than theory one of the other two cards will be better. I don't want to spend much more than $240 on a GPU and the GTX 670 appeared to be the best for the price range. Am I wrong?

What games are you planning on playing?
If you want Physx then the Nvidia card is the obvious choice but Mantle for AMD cards is out soon and if you want to support that you need an AMD card.
Here are the benchmarks for Batman Arkham Origins and Battlefield 4.

As you can see they are pretty close.

Before I had the chance to snag a 670 off of newegg for $270 after rebate, they went out of stock.... where else is a reliable merchant that I could get it for the same price (I believe it was a factory overlocked version with 2 fans)

Actually after thinking about it the 760 seems to be pretty much on par with the 670, and someone had mentioned the 700 series cards greatly reduce lag while recording with programs like fraps. On top of being much more affordable. The benchmarks posted show +/-2 fps, which hardly makes a difference, is there anything else that will separate the performance of these cards?

I was adding all the parts to my cart and right before purchasing it updated and said the 670 went out of stock, so I don't really have that option at the moment. I purchased everything but the GPU and will just wait I guess..

Alright just get a 760 then, it's 30% faster than my card (660) and only a little less than a 670, I'm guessing like 5 fps max, otherwise it would run most things max at 60 fps anyway. Or you can just push your budget a little and get a 770 for $330 and call it a day, no call it a decade because this thing will steamroll anything at 1080p probably 1440p to.
