So I have recently built a new computer, and I used a AMD A10 5800K Quad-core Processor on a MSI's FM2-A75MA-E35 motherboard.

The APU works fine on everything but the graphics. GPU wise, it is not there. AMD even included uh game download which also cannot be started, Ive checked BIOS all can find is OC. ? idk

Is my motherboard bottlenecking my APU into only a CPU, basically? how can I fix this and play a video game?

thaanks for the help

Hi there,

What do you mean that the graphics aren't there? Do you have a dedicated graphics card? If you do not then you will need to plug in your monitor into the motherboard display outputs. Those will be using the APU's graphics.

Good luck!

Well I desktop, try to run a game like, PoE or SimCity but my video games aren't working. I have No graphics card yet, will be getting one soon, and yes the monitor is plugged into motherboard. But what I mean is it seeeems like I have a CPU and not my APU's graphics. No intense registry of epic graphics on any sort of gaming scale. Okay so like you go into windows right, Control Panel and then into Windows Experience Index and my Graphics and Gaming Graphics arr at rating of 1, which I think is as low as it goes. And to be even more specific when I try to load a game I get a 'No compatible Direct3D Device". ? So something fishy there, idk if its my motherboard or some missing instillation, or even a faulty product.

So yes I will have a GPU soon but my APU and Motherboard are compatible so I should be gaming by now. So immm still in the need for help
