hi i have a sony vaio laptop with i5-2450M processor and 4 gb ram is there any external graphic card i can use to run games for my laptop

External ports bottleneck GPUs so much its not practical. Either get a good laptop with a good integrated gpu or build a desktop which is by far more cost effective for gaming
