Bought HDMI to link PC to TV but..

The TV only Displays my desktop background, start up menu but no programs, and doesnt show my movies.

is there a certain program i need to watch my neflix's via HDMI on my tv?

any help will be greatly appraited

drag the window with the movie to the right

that's called extended desktop mode. you can do also clone (where the exact same image that's on the monitor will be also on the tv)

Go into the display option and select duplicate image if you want to mirrow your computers screen. You have it setvas a standalone secoundary
