Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section on the website, I am a first timer posting here. I've been using Tomshardware and Pc Part Picker to help me build a computer along with multiple other sites, but I'm afraid I may be spending too much money or too little money on certain things. I am also worried that I may have certain things that may not be compatible or will cause my computer trouble. I will take any advice, I am trying to build a sick gaming computer and I'll take all the advice I can get!! Thus far the parts i am planning on buying are the following:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" SSD
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB (Superclocked)
Case: Aerocool Xpredator X1 Black Edition ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply: Antec 750W ATX12V
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

The only three things I would change are your GPU, Case, and PSU. The GTX 780Ti is way overpriced, and only gives a slim gaming advantage over the GTX 780. I recommend an EVGA GTX 780 w/ ACX cooler and investing in a quality PSU eg. Corsair RM 750 Watt and a good case eg. Corsair C70, 750D, or Air 540.

The ram is overkill stick to 1866 you will only get a modest over clock with that heatsynch which 1866 will do fine for if you plan to go liquid cooling I'd suggest 2133. 2400 is going to kill your CPUs internal memory controller pretty quick

Anything above 1600mhz doesn't help with gaming only by a frame or 2 1866 and 2133 are only nessasary if your over clocking or using memory intensive apps not gaming

I second firo40, you would be better of with DDR3-1866 CAS 9 than DDR3-2400 CAS 11.

Could you possible give me a specific thing of ram to get? I am not too familiar with the inside of the computer, so I'm kind of a dumby with this whole thing right now. I have been using benchmarks mostly the whole time. And also what do you guys think of the motherborad? And also what does superclocking mean and how does it work?

Personally I love the Corsair Vengance Pro 8Gb (2x4Gb) DDR3-1866 CAS 9: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
