We need to know the complete specs of his computer including power supply make and model. If it's a newer computer and not too low end the power supply will be the main limiting factor.

If you don't know and don't want to ask him then if you can take the side off the case there is a sticker on the power supply. Copying that info and posting it here will let us know what we are working with.

We also need a budget. You can get graphics cards from $10 to $1000.

The computer model may not help much since Cyberpower computers are custom configured.

I would imagine that the computer is PCIe3.0 capable so there should not be a problem there. I am also going to assume that you do not want to pay an A$$ load for a graphics card. With this being said here are a couple options in the $250 range:

GeForce Card: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-276...

Radeon Card: http://shop.amd.com/us/All/Detail/GraphicCard/H785QT4G2...

With the EVGA one you get 2 free games...pretty nice in my book.

With a 600ish Watt Power Supply you should be more than ok with either of these.
