What is "virgin mobilepro wireless"? Is it the name of a wireless network you're trying to connect to? Or is it a Virgin Mobile broadband device (couldn't find anything called that on Virgin Mobile USA's website)? And your laptop is able to connect to your phone (via WiFi or Bluetooth) as a hotspot?
Try this:
From the Desktop screen, click the network icon in the Windows Taskbar notification area. Then right-click the wireless network in question and in the menu that appears, click
Forget this network.
Click the network icon again, and try to connect to the wireless network. Assuming your wireless network is secured, you should see a prompt for your wireless network password (security key/code). Enter it!
If that doesn't work, try running the network troubleshooter:
■Go to the Start screen (tap Windows key).
■Type identify and repair.
■Click Identify and repair network problems in the search result list.
