I'm planning on buying this radiator: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14327/ex-rad-315/XSPC...
I have a Zalman Z11 plus, and there are mounts for 2 120mm fans. They look too far apart from each other for a 240, but I just wanted to double check. If there isn't enough room, I was planning on putting in 2 or 3 120mm rads.

If you need the list of the other parts, although I don't know why you would, just say so. I don't want to take the time now to put all the links.

Hey Bleubird,
From other threads about this issue, it seems like it is not the spacing that is an issue, it's the depth. Source: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1644486/zalman-z...

Here is a link to the main page of the case, they review how to take off the top panel of the case in the manual. http://www.zalman.com/eng/product/Product_Read.php?Idx=...

You can always take the top panel off and measure the spacing to ensure that you can mount a radiator there, then measure the depth you can have until you will hit your motherboard. Maybe you could swing the radiator with slim fans.

Just to clarify, you are saying I should put slim (10mm-15mm) fans on the outside, top, of the tower. Then mount the radiator inside the tower?

No, i mean all inside the case, but you will have to measure to make sure it will fit.

Are you sure the radiator will even fit? 100%? It looks like 240mm radiators with fans, have the fans pushed right up against each other.

Will I have the chance of having to drill holes in the top? I don't mind having to. Would a 280mm radiator mount better? Without the drilling.

No, I am not sure, that is why I am saying you should measure the dimensions of the top panel of your case.

Here are some steps to show you what I mean.

Measure the spacing between the 120mm fan holes in your top panel. If the spacing is 15mm between the closest mounting holes for 120mm fans then a radiator should mount properly in those fan holes.

Measure the distance from the back panel to the closest set of mounting holes to ensure that the radiator is not too long.

Measure the width of your top panel to ensure that it is wide enough to fit the radiator you want.

Measure the distance from the top panel to your motherboard to ensure that the radiator is not too deep to fit in the top of your case.

If the radiator depth is 30mm and you have 45mm of room, you could swing 15mm fans at the most.

I hope you see what i am saying here.
