Hi, so I went to start my computer and before I pushed the button I shocked it, now it will not start.

However if i switch PSU power switch over too I it will turn on. (has been set to o side and worked fine for over a year). When i boot on I nothing shows up on my monitor... If i switch it back over to the o side it flashes on for a half second the fans kick in and it powers down right away. Then it wont boot at all until i hit the power switch on psu again.

I read clearing the CMOS might help, tried it and results are the same.

If there is any other info you need please let me know, any advice would be helpful at this point, thank you!

MOBO : MSI 970a-g46
Vid card : msi radeon 7790

Sounds like a short circuit there ...
Remove the cover of your pc and locate the connector where the power button is connected to on the motherboard, it's on the lower right side and you will see some wires connected there, it is labeled JFP1 and you need to disconnect the power button from the pins 6 and 8. Try to turn the computer on shorting those same pins with a screwdriver, if the computer turns on normally it means you need a new power button
