my setup or soon to be setup is this:
i7-4770k
EVGA Gtx 780 SC 3 gb
1 120gb SSD
1 1tb HDD
H60 CPU cooler
4 fans
MSI-g45 z87 gaming mobo
16 gb Corsair Vengenace DDR3 ram

PSU ??? I was looking at the Antec TruePower Classic series TP-750C 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Power Supply but im uncertain of the quality/$$$ i am sort of on a budget. The cheaper the better but I know when it comes down to psu the money is worth it... Something around 120$ or less would be best. Any insight would be great. Yes it is my first build so any advice would be good!
Thanks

That TP-750C is very high quality, made by Seasonic, arguably the best PSU maker there is right now.

Thanks for the reply! That makes me feel better about the choice. Now the question is, is that psu enough head room for the setup i have even if i choose to overclock the cpu in the future or run the setup hard so to speak with gaming or editing?

You will likely be told that a 750W is a little overkill and that's a valid point, but with a 780 that's about what I would look at too. I like to go overboard a little when it comes to the PSU.

Here's another good deal, XFX 750W pro series, semi modular, also made by Seasonic $79.99 (are you in the US?).

Yup i am US! I was told the same really. I was told to go with a 650 but that doesnt seam like enough headroom for me to be comfortable with purchasing that and running it. But if the antec i was looking at is very high quality i will take the money and put it towards that to run my system!

A high quality 650W would be plenty, even for an overclock. That is the correct answer (wink)
