I want to build a PC with a budget of 70,000 Indian rupees. I bought a Dell S2240L monitor recently so monitor is already checked-out of the list.

I am a sound engineer, gamer and internet surfer, so I would like the specs to meet these criterias.

I have looked into, Intel 3 GHz LGA1150 4430 i5 4th Generation Processor and ASRock Z87 Extreme4 Motherboard, is it OK?

I would like to overclock in the future.

Please post your opinions

Solution
ok. For processor get the FX 8350 by AMD. The 4th generation which is your preference is too damn overrated and overpriced.
Its 13000 and overclockable to 5ghz.

For motherboard,get a MSI,970A G43 for 5500

For case , get the cooler master k281 for 3200.

Ram, Kingston HyperX 2x4GB 1600mhz. about 5500.

For hard drive, WD caviar blue 1TB 4,400.

For power supply go for any one i recommend corsair GS 800. 7500.

For cooler get this one

In case you do plan on a build for your professional needs to be satisfied, i would highly recommend you focus on the CPU and the sound card that would go into your PC.

The best CPU you can buy is without a doubt the i7 4930K but it might take things overboard with the price tag of 43000 rupees. I would recommend however you going in for a socket 1150 i5 4970K which will do well as a gaming platform and support your needs as a sound engineer pretty well.

What many dont seem to consider is the 8350 from AMD. It might not be the best out there but it has really good potential in practical use and is one of the best CPUs for a 13000 rupee price tag. I would recommend a build consisting of the FX 8350 or maybe even the 9370, a good quality 240 rad and liquid cooling setup which will cost you around 10000 rupees, A decent motherboard which again you could find for about 10,000 rupees , a sound card of your choice(im sorry im not an expert at sound cards) , preferably an R9 270X or better graphic card which costs around the 25-30K range in india, and im sure the other peripherals can be pretty well adjusted in the budget.

Any help required please post and i can change a few parts on the list.

P.S : get a good PSU (high wattage) will help the sound card and in this case , overkill is better than underkill

2000RS.
All adds upto around 40000. For graphic card go with the

http://www.flipkart.com/msi-amd-r9-270x-gaming-2g-2-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdpvgkqdgepzfc?pid=GRCDPVGBM5MFAPYV&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=r9+270x&ref=1b76314d-c88e-4773-997e-d774db5af2fd

I would recommend the r9 280x more but its not availaible on flipkart. The r9 290 is, but its 35000 which will be over your budget.

For keyboard and mouse
Get this wireless pair.

http://www.flipkart.com/logitech-mk240-wireless-keyboard-mouse-combo/p/itmdedwrkhnuqdfe?pid=ACCDEDVG9DS8GG9Z&otracker=from-search&srno=t_2&query=wireless+keyboard+mouse&ref=32444d82-a805-4df3-bf00-a888f2ec0b61

And that all adds upto 63000 (around that)

You can get this for a even better gaming experience,

All 67000 now.
Hope that helped

Thank you for the reply. My main concern is will it be able to withstand the pressure of multitasking. Since I'm a sound engineering I need a good sound card and speakers too. Can you suggest a good liquid cooling system since my system will be on 24/7. I can extend my budget by another 10,000 rupees

The one I provided is this one
Scroll this link I give you till the bottom
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/970A-G43.html

Its already a future proof motherboard as it has crossfire support.
Crossfire means running two gpu's together.
So when you have some another money to spend, Add another gpu and make them work together.

Hope that helped.

And wait I would just like to cross check again that the cooler is comptaible with the case

I am sorry that cooler is not comptaible with the case sorry about that.
Water coolers need good cases and most of the cheap cases are incomptaible I'm sorry to say it now. Really, Really sorry.
Get this cooler, 500Rs cheaper and better.

Hi miit123 help needed.

I am new here and need your help to build a solid rig that would be used for Visual and Sound Editing, MS-Office, High End Gaming, Net Surfing and watching movies.

I have never built a system on my own and I have an average knowledge on technology.

I would prefer an already over clocked CPU and GPU, the Motherboard should be future proof. Since my system will be on 24/7, I need a very good cooling system (liquid cooling preferred) and a system case that supports ventilation with transparent sides.

I have not made up my mind on whether to go with Intel or AMD. So I would prefer specifications of both Intel and AMD.

My budget is around 60,000 to 75,000 Indian Rupees.

My main concerns are the CPU, MB, GPU and PSU and also a good UPS Battery.

Thank you very much miit123 but what would be the budget if I go for an Intel based system. To be frank I'm not satisfied with an AMD machine, my friend had one and went through lots of trouble and he recently shifted to an Intel based system.

As the Intel Core i5-3570K has a built in HD 4000 gpu, it will obviously not be beat in single thread benchmark tests! The AMD FX-8350 has no gpu, however most shoppers buying these products are looking for a good gaming processor. There for user will most definitely have a graphics card, making a built in gpu not even needed.

The Motherboard is out of stock at flipkart can you recommend any other brand which is future proof? And the HDD can I go for the WD Black edition?

Hi miit123. I'm planning to take things slow and steady. I want to build a solid rig and use only the best components. So can you help me out. I planning to buy parts on monthly basis so that I have more money to invest.

Now should I go for Intel or AMD?

I want an already over clocked CPU, GPU and Ram and a motherboard to support them. I'm also planning to use two GPU's. How is Asus Sabertooth mobo.

Planning to buy the CPU, MOBO and GPU for last.

I have a budget of 40,000 rupees this month. On what should I invest first?
