In CPU z on idle the processor voltage sits around 1.56-.1.57 and is liquid cooled by seidon 240 m. In games such as battlefield 4 the pc will freeze up and I assume this is due to vdroop. Problem is that I have the voltage set 1.61 in the BIOS. Is it acceptable to set the voltage higher so long as the droop keeps it in the 1.56 area? Will it damage it by setting it at a high enough level to prevent lock ups yet the droop keeps it above the level that it locks?

1.56 and 1.61 for daily..OMG
well, that's a very dangerous level of core voltage..

lowering you cpu clock and your voltage..for the pete's sake..

you won't notice the difference between 4.8 and 4.5 GHz..

freeze that's mean your motherboard fail to stabilize your processor to run at that clock speed..

and yeah, MSI, meanwhile MSI can produce excellent graphic card, good intel mobo..
but while produce amd motherboard, it's always have problems with low quality crappy vrm..in all of their series..
