you can't. you need to buy an nvidia gpu to utilize physX. i don't see why you should.

Actually, you can install both an AMD and NVIDIA graphics card and obtain hardware physics through a software workaround called Hybrid PhysX:

The only reason PhysX does not work correctly on AMD cards, and is a nerfed feature requiring a work-around on even an NVIDIA card when you have an AMD card installed is NVIDIA's obstinacy toward openness. NVIDIA is childish to the point of punishing those who don't use their equipment.

I didn't disagree with you about there being a need for an NVIDIA graphics card. However, I will disagree that you are specifically required to buy an NVIDIA card. That's only if you don't have an old one laying around. But many people do have older NVIDIA graphics cards laying around, and PhysX only requires something on the order of an 8600 GT to function well, especially when the card is dedicated to PhysX. While you may not think it's worth it to buy a card for PhysX, and I may actually agree with you there, I would rather help people understand better their options than try and just make them see things my way.
