Hello,

I just built a new PC and purchased two monitors, BenQ GW2255 and BenQ RL2455. My graphics card is a Gigabyte Geforce GTX770, i know that it is capable of running two monitors but for some reason it will not work. The current issue is that although one monitor will work, when plugging the second monitor into the DVI slot it does not identify the monitor.
I have tested all cabling and both monitors work on the first DVI slot although neither work on the second. My main monitor (RL2455) has a HDMI cable slot and i was able to get windows 7 to identify that a secondary monitor was there by having the RL2455 plugged in via HDMI and the GW2255 plugged in via the first DVI slot. Although no images would show on the RL2455. The GW2255 does not have a HDMI slot.
The cables that came with the monitors are DVI to DVI and VGA to VGA.

Thank you.

Goes to show that you will need to connect one using the HDMI and the other using the DVI cable..... I doubt if you have any other option....
Then you need to replicate or clone the 2 monitor.... check if you get any picture on the monitors after that.
Then you can go and change the clone thing into extending the primary monitor....
