no display with new build asus m5a87 mobo

i got a
asus m5a87 mobo
radeon HD 6770 GPU
amd athlon quad core 3.4 ghz black edition
generic sata 2 HDD 250gb
500w PSU

all put together all boots up no beeps etc but doesnt display and pictures on the tv via either HDMI or the VGA any suggestions?

No Beeps Short, No power, Bad CPU/MB, Loose Peripherals

all fans work green led on the bottom all ok

make sure all your cables are properly in. also try to change your tv/monitor's input, this last thing did it for me.

u should have had at least 1 beep from your mobo if u didnt somethin is wrong

what do you mean by change input on the tv?

on my old tv i had to change the input to make my pc display on it. it was somewhere in the settings, i can't remember exactly where.
