My laptop is locked after successfully changed BIOS user password

I just removed my BIOS user password on my old Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop. Now I cannot access BIOS or boot the computer. I also have HDD password which was the same with the user password and the supervisor password.

I tried with blank password and old password. Any ideas what happened?

You mistyped and now cannot access ... to reset bios to manufacturer's defaul you must remove both bateries, the big one and there is a small one (looks like a clock battery) you must look into the user manual to find out where it is and how to remove it. Do it with power unplugged of course. After 10 seconds you can put the batteries in again
